At the moment, we have about 10 rabbits, 15 goats and 40 Cameroon dwarf blackbelly sheep living in our petting zoo.

All the animals are kept in a walk-in enclosure so you and your children can experience the animals close at hand.  Occasionally, some animals escape and then run around freely!  With such a large number of wild animals, it often happens that orphaned animals have to be hand-reared.  They are fed with goat’s milk and water, every 4 hours.  At a later date, the young animals are introduced into the large pens to be with the other animals and they soon assimilate into the large herd.  Because of the environmental conditioning during its first few days the animal develops a lasting friendship with the person who reared it.
