Right beside our guesthouse there are four fishponds.  The water for the ponds comes directly from the mountain on our doorstep, the Sparber Mountain,

which guarantees the best water quality which, for the trout especially, is of great importance.  Every year young fish are introduced to cover the requirements of our kitchen.
In the individual ponds the trout are sorted according to size so we can always prepare the correct-sized trout for you.  Each pond is also home to sturgeon which are responsible for the cleaning of the pond floor.
